What wouldnt you buy in a Dollar Store?

Not a big fan don't go there much but yeah I would say make up....my skin is too pretty to make it ugly with cheap make up. I don't hardly use make up but I have some on hand and my skin and eyes are sensitive to cheap stuff....same with jewelery it has to be real or turns my skin green and makes it infected.

We have a dollar tree but the DEAL store now sells stuff that is more than a dollar just like dollar general. I try to avoid anything where lead might be an issue which means mostly anything from China. The only thing that was ever a poor buy was vacuum sealed new york strip steak.According to dh it was pretty darn tough but he ate it.

I can think of more things I would buy than what I would not.I make sure to check dates since I bought expired juice boxes one time.

Some toys really stink from there breaking with first use,but every so often they have some great deals.

I LOVE the dollar tree... I get universal remotes, snacks, disposable cooking foil pans (way cheaper then reg. stores.), cleaning supplies, gift bags (huge selection), mylar baloons, and ALL my nieces and nephews christmas/solstice gifts (I have 14 so in order for all to get something this is the only way for me).. Now food I havent bought from there but my grandmother does and she loves it...

Eggs. Chickens don't lay eggs with expiration dates but stores will sell stuff manufactured... whenever.

Same reason I don't buy safety equipment at Wal-Mart. With quality that low, I won't trust my life to anything purchased there.

Ammo. Guns. Tires. Life Jackets. No way!

Plastic bags, wraps, anything for food storages, paper plates and cups, party stuff.

Crackers, candy and some chips are pretty good, keep an eye out on expiration dates.

Stuff for kids lunches (non food) lunchbags, and paper bags.
