Found a $15 sewing machine at the thrift store. I am guessing mid 1960's, very heavy metal. Only drawback is the side bobbin thing and I'm used to the Singer style drop in bobbin. I am probably going to try to find the closest place with Janome's and get a new one of those as well. They have good reviews.

got my perinineal flower mix from ayeupchick Thanks a bunch. What a variety.

Also got my Lilac mist candles from Meepitqueenie thanks I love the scent.

I have this cactus. I know nothing about it other than I have had it for about 18 years and my DH's grandmother had it for about 20 years before that. It blooms a tan "star" type flower every Mother's Day so we call it the Mother's Day cactus. It lives outside in this pot year around. Coldest at around 10 degrees and hottest is in full sun at 101 degrees. It has lived in this pot, in this spot for the past 18 years with full sun on the north side of my house on the deck. The Mocking birds love to eat the red seed pods that come out after the bloom fades.
I also have some planted down near the barn and it has done well other than grass growing over it. LOL

I suppose I could add this to my swap page, as well. Never thought about it. It multiplies like mad, given the room.

I am not good with plants so this one is perfect for me. Ignore and neglect make it real happy. I can do that!

I'd trade ya some lantana for it, pink/yellow flowers.

Got my eggs today from AyeUpChuck. They were at the PO yesterday, but I didn't make it in time. I'm hoping one day doesn't hurt my odds. Thanks, they are beautiful eggs!

reesepoultry - your sizzle eggs are going out in the morining. I Pm'd you the DC#.

I have an auction for silkie eggs. There are I think 8 partridge eggs collected, some white and some bbs. One of my partridges won 4th place in BV in a recent show and a black pullet got 2nd in BV same show. That partridge hen is one laying along with her daughters which have more gold in their feathers than their mother. I know the black pullet has started laying but I can't guarantee the bbs are any of hers.

Just thought I would mention the auction. There is a bid already and it ends tomorrow for a monday mailing. The auction is fir 12 eggs but I will let the winner choose how many of which eggs I have available tomorrow. It's getting close to time for my winter hatching so there won't be many more eggs offered for sale or swap soon.

What was the link to the thread about the eggs that were sold at a crazy HIGH price? I saw someone talking about it maybe a month ago. It was for a 300-400 bucks. Thank you
