Cinderella brought her 3 day old chicks outside the coop for the first time yesterday, it was the cutest thing I've ever seen, even there Daddy was keeping a close eye on them and helping feed, so I thought you might enjoy a few photos!

Got my Egg basket from Gabble yesterday. Thanks for the extra gifts, I can find good use for them.

Also I got my Wreath from Patty (anderson) today. Thanks so much it is even prettier in person. Except you put it in a Large Flat Rate box and paid regular shipping on it. They were going ot send it back to you But I told them no I would pay the extra shipping.

Today is a good day. I got my Trio of Call Ducks in today. They are soooo small and adorable. Now just waiting till the girls relax and start laying eggs.

Here's some pics. The water has vitamins in it to help them stay healthy from there journey. I also threw grass in there for them. They are in quaranteen for now. But it is a big Dog kennel.

Anderson, the red chicks are from my RIR's I sent you. I need to get some pics of there Mom's and Dad. lol

Oh, you mean in your pic... I was confused. Cool.

I had three orange chicks hatch yesterday and posted the pic somewhere else, I knew they were buckeyes, so I was momentarily confused.

I got my apron the other day from Coldupnorth (?) I think. I LOVE it and the children keep telling me they like it too!

Michelle, the ducks are too cute! I am getting a dozen eggs next week from someone nearby.

Hi all. Well now that things are settled a bit. I'm going to be a grandmother. Not something expected but I am supportive of my daughter and going to help her raise the baby until she can do so on her own.

Since we dont have anything for babies any more if you have some things that are in good condtion pm me and maybe we can swap items for them. as obviously money is going to be very tight around here.

I might also sell my home and move into a rental and may have to give up our chickens if we do so. But that is something that we will have to figure all out later.

If anyone has the what to expect when your expecting book, I would like to get one for her.

My daughters baby theme is baby jungle animals- giraffes, monkey, elephants, lions and such.


ON another note I had a good hatch from emvic again and i think johnfarmer with ee's... and a few of our japs and a couple of our lf eggs... i got a nn? - do either of you have nn.... or did my nn roo escape and have fun with my big girls? i know he got out once and i put him back in his pen.

well heres some pictures of the batch that hatched. i had one that zipped but died before making it out and 3 japs that died maybe day 17 (this is common with the short legged gene), and one egg i dont know will hatch.

Well cong grandma,i understand surprises ,when i was 16 i was expecting,now my son 40 plus years later very susfessful.Boy or girl? I have some new baby quilts,let me know !

I don't have any NN of any breed. If it was one of my eggs the nn gene would have to be way back. I've hatched nearly all my own eggs. I"ve kept a few from others but not many there either.
I recently, with in the past few weeks, upgraded my silkie flock. As soon as I have them all separated in individual color pens and the hens start laying i'll be selling eggs after I check fertility of course. I got most of the sikies from Bobbi Porto and a pair of paints from Carter Reese of reesepoultry.
