Also, I decided to sell my ducks. I have 2 pekin drakes, 2 indian runner drakes, 1 rouen suzie and 2 blue swedish that i'm thinking are suzies. They are the only ones that haven't molted yet and all but 2 hatched the same time.

What would be a good price to ask for some SR day old SQ buff orp chicks? Someone wants me to hatch some and I don't know what to ask.

I can only tell you my experience. A breeder is selling us day old chicks to show in 4-H (we had to show proof of 4-H membership) for $2 each for 15. Anything over 15 is more ($3/ea I think, but don't quote me). These are show quality birds, she wins APA shows with them in our part of the country.

Thanks. I would go cheap for 4h for sure but this isn't 4h. I saw hatcheries that do $2.25-$2.50 per bird for the SR.

Around my next of the woods..... any chicks is $2 - $5 each.
