Has anybody heard from cuntryuppichick? We did a side swap back before Christmas and I never received my item and I haven't seen any posts. I hope nothing is wrong. I'm more concerned about her health than the item.

I forgot to thank Michelle for the side swap eggs I got last week with my bonus thanks so much! Do you use lye to make your soap, and where do you get it? I seem to have quite a bit of goats milk.
Oh, and thanks to Caroline as well I am going to have a boatload of chicks:-D

Not sure which scents I have, it has been ages since I made soap. But I will keep it in mind if I ever find lye plus time to make soap. Have a huge garden that needs planting. Putting in lots of corn this year.

I just wanted everyone to know, I am sorry for the delay ( 2 or 3 days) in shipping things, I had an issue with 32 year old son and was too stressed out to even think, but things are better, he is home ( for now) I will get my head back into my life and set everything out in a day or 2 thansk

I know what you mean about busy. I've got more pots in the fire than I can tend right now. I have shirts and totes to screen print and also a garden to plant and in addition to the already things i can't get to i'm driving my grandson to and from school which is almost 3 hours of driving a day. Plus he's staying with us till his mother can make up her mind if she wants to act like a mother or not.............again. I haven't finished my cabinet bator or packed up the MIL's things and turned her room into my grandsons room. She went back to the nursing home to stay this time. Oh and DH brought home a puppy that needs training.

I could go on and on.

I just wanted to say thank you to each one of you that have helped me in some way, sometimes without knowing that you helped me. It is pretty cool how this is a swap chat thread but it's also a support group. Sorry to those of you who are "bothered" by this, if you exist. Human beings tend to end up helping each other and it is difficult to keep it all "business".

I do like how this group has come together -- everyone feels safe to share challenges life is throwing their way. I had not been on BYC very long when my beloved Mama passed away in Jan. 2011. The outpouring of love and support was amazing .. as was the patience of people that were waiting on swap items as I went through those first black weeks/month of grieving.

Sending love and prayers out to you Kimisfishing.. and emvickery.. know where you are with minor differences in the characters (brother instead of son - Ex-daughteri n law instead of daughter)
