Whatcha Making for Supper?

Sounds like a nice sauce. I think she might very well have meant 6 tsps of butter. 6 TB is nearly a whole cube! But who knows. I think all in all I used more than a cube of butter when I made the crepes the other day. It was a surprising amount, but of course everything is better with butter. lol
Jerry makes Crepes in the winter months, he uses 2 regular frying pans. I asked him what is recipe was. He said some of this and some of that. He said he makes it like his grandmother did when he was a kid in France.

One of my brothers in the taco mafia was down in Yuma today and brought us the good stuff. (We have a friend group who all stop at a local place in our hometown and pick up /deliver for each other when we're down there. We call it the taco mafia.)

Tonight's dinner was mostly Birthday Cake ... three different kinds! My Mama will be 86 this week, so we all gathered at the farm to celebrate. She's always joked about having dessert first, so that's what we did! "Dessert" afterwards was fired (EDIT - fried, not fired!) chicken and a ton of sides, most of which went home as leftovers. I mean, really, who has room for regular food after chowing down on homemade blueberry cheesecake, classic coconut cake and shortcake with homemade whipped cream and strawberries that "slept" in the garden, last night?
:D
