Whatcha Making for Supper?

@oldhenlikesdogs talk to me about the beans and cabbage. I have half a head of cabbage in the refrigerator waiting to be used.
Well I start by sauteing, remember when I said I never sauted cabbage, :lol: , well I do at the start of this recipe, I saute cabbage and sweet onions down, than I add a big can of baked beans, than 5-6 cans of other beans rinsed and drained. I like garbanzo, butter, northern, kidney, black, whatever you like. It's similar to a 5 bean bake. Add as much or as little as you like.

I than add extra stuff to sause it up. Every time is different because I wing it. Ketchup, barbeque sauce, couple of squirts of mustard, few splashes of vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste. Sometimes I use tomato sauce to cut the sweetness in place of some ketchup and barbeque sauce. Let it simmer a bit. You can add bacon or chopped ham I suppose, but I don't eat meat so I leave them out. It's one of my go to meals that lasts a few days.

No they are getting the lame cheesy Italian shells. :lau

Tomorrow I am making a giant pot of veggie beef soup so I can freeze it in small ready to use serves 3-4 people sized batches.
I will probably make some broccoli cheese soup too just cause it is yummy.
