Whatcha Making for Supper?

You are an adventurous cook. I like that. I am too. Fun to learn new things.

It was fun. As you know.
Except for the Arizona Cardinals. Arizona isn't really known for anything  Probably too many retirees.
I think I made a couple Southwest things.

When I made lobster rolls for New England I even made the NE style buns. So if you ever need to make NE style hot dog buns, I've got the pan ;)

I went with grilled wings and a couple tacos. And celery.

I was going to have smash burgers, but I bought all this broccoli and asparagus a couple days ago and that just doesn't seem like an appropriate side to a hamburger.

So I'm going to have a NY strip.
I went the extra mile and bought the more expensive cut rather than the usual cut I buy. They were on sale anyway.

Still undecided on grilled or CI pan with a basting sauce.

These days I've been spoiled by the prime cuts of steak and tri tips at Costco. It's the only steak we buy now.

Although...I am going to buy a flank steak this week. We usually get that already marinated and tenderized at Haggen, but this time I'm going to do both those things myself. If it's not as good as theirs, I'll go back to buying theirs.

I like the free range chicken at Haggen too, and they get wild caught fish. It's close to Costco too. Once a month that is my protein run.
