Well that was definitely an awkward situation. But..... The out side/inside that is sticking out is dry. It went back in back out but I don't know how long it will stay that way.

oh ok. Umm it is kinda black looking, and feels kinda scabbed. It came out again so I am keeping it moist with coconut oil. And she's straining quite a bit I think she is trying to lay an egg. Is that going to make it worseThe red tissue needs to be kept moist with oil or honey, or the tissue can turn black and die. This needs to be done until it stays inside for good. Oats are really not food for her. They are part of chicken feed, but feeding a lot can be harmful. Stick to her chicken feed. You can wet it like oatmeal if you want.
