What's our gender?

So we have 2 mixed breed barred rocks. Their dad is a purebred barred and we're not sure which hens are their moms. They are 2 weeks old. Do the rules for sexing barred rocks still apply? Here are some pics of the chicks in question...

With the BR being the father I believe you will have a mix match of Barred offspring. Rules don’t apply. You will just have to wait it out unfortunately. Look for red enlarged combs before 10 weeks of age.

Thank you! Yes, we think he is a handsome boy. We got him from a breeder. He's the first roo we've had and he is a great. He does his job which is funny because he's a bantam and our hens are LF, lol. He has an awesome temperament too. Never mean to us, my kids, our dogs, but keeps his girls safe. We love him.
