Also keep your humidity at 50% during incubation, and up it at hatch to around 70% at lockdown. I wait out a few extra days after hatch date f the eggs dont have odor.
We raise a lot of different poultry from Quail to Peafowl, I have excellent hatches with my GQF 1502 digital cabinet incubators. It was an excellent investment for us, we raise most of our food here, on the farm. Also process everything from Quail to cows at home, lol.

my first year was an LG, I've only hand turned goose eggs on their sides. My current incubator was hand built and designed by my late husband so I'm of no help on commercially produced incubators.
