What's The best Ways To Breed Iowa Blues With Different Breeds?

Yes, but their coloring, type, and other traits are still much more consistent than a mutt.

I do. I would definitely breed her.

As I said in my previous post, that coloring is pretty uncommon. I thought that birchen was m99th9ore desirable?
She has birchen pattern that shows in her neck mostly.

Glad you like her.:)

I'll need a rooster, which I'll need to hatch sometime.

The description of the original Iowa Blues mentions Females with: Silvery/white head, & neck, laced appearance starting at the front of the neck, breast feathers, leading to barred, or pencilled feathers. Almost forgot to list that they were described to look blue from a distance.

I hope I remembered the description correctly.

Don't know if this helps but a pic of a male adult fowl Iowa Blue.

That male looks to have yellow legs, which is a flaw, most likely due to having Rhode Island Red in the bloodline. Grey, slate legs is what can be achieved with barred rock added in.

My chick is a cross of Buff Orpington/Barred Rock X Rhode Island Red, which produced both pencilled pattern, slate legs, plus the chestnut chick down color.
