Believe me I know, very hard not to brag about that VERY exotic chicken lol

this is Dora and Consuela 3 and 4 month old sugar gliders
Chickaddict, I have personally never worked with Sugar Gliders (although they are very cool) but at work we have flying squirrels and they are COOL!

I've sadly worked with more animals than I've owned. I'm hankering for a mara, capybara, black and white tegu, vulturine guinea fowl, and a cacomistle though. Loving the photos!

Hardly exotic here, but I have sugar gliders living in the dead gum tree next to my house.
I had a pet ringtail possum when I was a kid, and pet magpies and blue tongue lizards.

Also used to help friends of mine raise orphaned baby wombats.

I really would love to have a mara and a capybara! but capybara are illegal to own in Oregon

, I also would love a couple cassowary and Ostrich!

Really? That's too bad! You guys can own some neat critters though. Even more so if you can get the right permits. There is an Oregon breeder who works with sloths among other animals, and she offers internships if you are ever interested. Have to jump through legal hoops for sure though.

Cacomistle, fox, mink, and several other animals are not allowed in my state. Well, you can raise them easily for fur, but not as pets. On the plus side, cappys don't even require a permit here.
