I have two awesome ferrets now They are so sweet!
and when I was younger I had a few doves,givin to me by a family member who passed.They were beautiful.

I had Ball Pythons, various snakes, a tortoises and turtles (albino soft shells). Axolotl and fire bellied toads.

I had an African Hedgehog also.

I had to sell them all when I emigrated and now I only have chickens, finches, doves and a small dog.

Really? That's too bad! You guys can own some neat critters though. Even more so if you can get the right permits. There is an Oregon breeder who works with sloths among other animals, and she offers internships if you are ever interested. Have to jump through legal hoops for sure though.
Cacomistle, fox, mink, and several other animals are not allowed in my state. Well, you can raise them easily for fur, but not as pets.

On the plus side, cappys don't even require a permit here.

I work for that lady!! lol, She owns 'Zoological Wildlife Conservation Center', a center that focuses on critically endagered animals, it is a blast!
