whats the point of peach peafowl?

It's another variation in the peafowl rainbow. I'm going against my usual stance in not really liking the silver pieds, but I did see a Peach Silver Pied and there was something very pretty and subtle about the mix of faded browns and white. Peach is just another choice now available for people wanting peafowl. There doesn't need to be a further point.
"See what you did" by telling everyone that the only thing peach was,was purple cameos. Somethings are better left unsaid.

Those are some pretty strange looking peafowl, shouldn't they be on the caged bird part of this forum?

You must be a pure bred yourself then? Without mix breeding everything in the world would not be here, all would be the same. Do you think all the dogs in the world were born that way? Today you can buy BLUE dogs and that is the natural color of them - blue. The world is a melting pot and new creatures are born everyday, you just don't know about them yet. So breeding one color to another gives you peach then wow you got a pretty bird. What is the point of India Blue? Bronze? Pied? Etc? If you do not like the color then that is your choice, do not buy one. Other people like the color peach so they buy it. Don't knock the color til you have seen it in person. And in the case of peafowl, most colors aren't breeds. They are mutations. There are several beautiful colors available that wouldm't exist without the work breeders put into developing them. Peach doesn't get me excited (perhaps because I have only seen pictures), so I won't buy any. Simple as that.
And I have neither the experience nor space to try to create my own line of Peach. A lot of folks like me would just put down the money to buy some if we wanted peach. I think reading how to create them and actually doing it are two different things.
And honestly... no offense AquaEyes... I didn't even read half of that post either. It's way above my head
Posts like that are more for the serious breeders who understand genetics, not for those of us who don't and really don't have an interest in it. No offense intended to those of you who seem to have an incredible understanding of genetics and how they work. I'm content to sit on the sidelines and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
