Northern Minnesota, currently -26F, expected to get to -30F sometime early this morning. Sun coming up in the daytime with high temp forecast of -9F. Then another cold night. Don't expect temps above zero F until Monday.

Chickens older now in their third winter, so I hope the cold nights do not stress them too much. Water heater base on the water fount still keeping everything ice free. January is typically our coldest month. Sure is starting off that way.

Same here is western WI. Praying chickens do good. Water still unfrozen for now.
