We had a crazy storm go through yesterday with 60 mph winds, rain, and hail. I was out running errands when it hit. Thirty electrical poles were knocked down and 20,000 people lost power in our 110+ temps!

Low humidity
The higher the humidity, the lower the evaporation rate of your sweat, so it's more difficult for your body to cool itself.
I'll take 115 with 20% humidity over 98 with 98% humidity.
Worked in a restaurant one summer. The kitchen was 115 and the dishwasher room was 98; poor 'dish buddies' were dying back there!
I was in Key West one June with 98 and 89; walking and drinking was about all we could do.
