Hello from Langley, BC! It's 36F here right now. The last 3 nights were below freezing & I've had to plug in the electric waterer to keep it from freezing.

Oh yuck! Heard it was freezing out your way! It’s been splendid here, but that all ended yesterday. Snow on the way now

And Fire ants.

I don’t mind heat and humidity, and bug are ok also, not sure about fire ants though - never had any experience with them.

But I did have some biting stinging ants in some water plants the local garden centre bought up from Florida once, the ants were homed inside the plants and when I started putting them in my pond they swarmed out attacking me!!! I watched them all summer - they stayed in the plants as far as I could tell. Then winter hit and they all died, never saw them again. Guess -20C is a temp they couldn’t live with

68F high of 86* - no rain in sight - last rain wasn't even enough to soak anything. Gonna get real dry after Sept. and early Oct.'s rain of about 20 inches.

If you run low on fire ants then we have so much hot weather we have a few trillion to spare. Can ship overnight if you get desperate.

i have family & friends in the GTA still - We monitor each other's weather and we have been consistemtly doinv the flip flop - Cold here - warm there. Warm here - cold there. Sunny here - rainy there.. Temps are supposed to come back up here, but I never trust the weather forecast
