    Central Florida this morning at 7am was 29 so, I imagine, it was colder overnight. Might not be too cold compared to our northern neighbors but everyone down here is freaking out:) I imagine Walmart is making a killing on space heaters and jackets.

    I gotta say that the 3 GP loved the temperature last night and frolicked most of the night including the 11 year old lady.

    -17 degrees and that's not windchill! Mamabird it's always warmer where you are!! LOL

    I'm afraid to go out and open the henhouse door!!! A rush of this cold can't be good entering in. I do have a heat lamp going and they were okay last night with extra scratch and their waterers are heated. So fingers crossed. [​IMG]

    Well here in beautiful Colorado it's gonna be in the mid 50's today, maybe 60. Don't worry though we feel your pain. Just not the cold or the humidity.

    At 7:30 in the chicken coop with a 250 watt heat lamp going we got up to a balmy 0. Thats 0!!!!!![​IMG] Thank god for the heated water bowl, helps everyone but the broody hen trying to hatch her eggs. John
