Hot & humid forecast

97 currently, the forecast is 105 today. The chickens did okay yesterday, but they’re definitely uncomfortable. My rooster, who’s basically untouchable, was panting so hard I had to pick him up and put him in some cold water for a bit. It was kind of a rodeo, but we both survived and he felt better afterwards. We’ll see how they all do today.

I believe it has been so hot here the last 21 days we could have hatched chicks without an incubator or a broody hen. 104 right now.
