Sounds like you have a bit more snow than us. They say we got about 14.5 inches on Christmas. We already had lots. But we missed the last snow that must of caught you. It angled to the east where the brunt of it was felt about the middle of the province.

-8 with a slight breeze...clear and crunchy...cold enough to make the dog sneeze! Temperatures are supposed to bottom out at around -12 early am...with a high of 3 degrees around 2 pm...I'd rather have snow then these kinds of cruel subzero temperatures...I hate to open the coop door to check on my birds and let their warmth out.
