What's the temperature where you are???

Yes, but they and daffodils are the first thing to bloom in the spring, then pretty for about a week or two, then done for the year.
We have a tulip festival up on the Southern Highlands each October where they plant out a small park. It's too warm here but I might go to the effort of refrigerating some bulbs one year.

We would be planting them in the fall, so like in the next few weeks, then cover them with some mulch/dead leaves, then when the snow melts, uncover them and voila!

We've had about half dozen out by the mailbox for several years. I should have some elsewhere too.

Haven’t seen any here surprisingly. Oh well.

It has been chilly the past few days, mornings require a jacket now. Brrr!

This morning it is 10c (50f) at the moment, calling for rain. Great more rain….
