We are a little over two hours into the race, and it is very clear that things are going a lot faster than last year.

In 2023, it took three and a half hours for the head of the fleet to reach Wollongong.

This year, it took less than two hours.
As of 3pm AEDT, Master Lock Comanche had passed Wollongong, and was travelling at a serious 25 knots.
