15:22 hrs south central Ontario Canada

+3C (38F), the freezing rain warning for me has ended, not so much for my DS, BIL and my eldest niece. They have had freezing rain since Friday night, and no power since last night 6pm.

They are under a state of emergency up their way, so many trees down, power lines down, roads blocked.

Here, I only had freezing rain last night, but still trees are down here and many places no power. For me it was mainly a rain event. Everything is FLOODED - the creeks and water courses are bursting their banks.

It’s been a wild winter and now a wild start to Spring. What next and early start to tornadoes?

between storms at about 215 went out side with my dog and heard the birds singing and then saw the sky to ground lightning and we came back inside
