-20 something here last I looked 23 or 24 below..it makes no difference really after 25 below it is all the same. There is not a lot of difference in the feel of 20 below and 40 below...

On the news, they said USPS has cancelled mail delivery in 10 states, ours included.....

I find this extremely disappointing. My own Menard's special remote weather monitoring device is only registering negative 28.4, The same as it did at 4am.

What a wimp of a cold front. I was looking forward to 50 below.

It could be because I live in a micro-climate known as the MN Banana belt. We get 40 below fairly frequently, so all this hub-bub about a "polar vortex" is just a bunch of TV and radio weather people trying to make themselves seem relevant. Give me a good old fashioned Alberta Clipper over this vortex anytime!
