What's the temperature where you are???

G’Day kikiruru

Sometimes it is bad enough just knowing the actual temperature and I do not think I want to know the heat index

We do pay close attention to the UV index and today’s is ‘Extreme’.

I am on the East Coast and Subtropical so it is not actual heat that is the problem, in that it does not get “take your breath away” hot, but the humidity can knock you about a bit. Other states do experience the hot heat.

The highest recorded temp in Brisbane was 110F [43.2C] but that was back in 1940 and it is uncommon for us to go over the 100F [38C] mark but factor in the humidity and it is a bit sticky.

However, in Perth [West] the highest recorded temp was 116.1F [46.7C] and a dry/hot heat.

06:45AM Thursday we have 80% chance of showers and an afternoon storm with a predicted maximum of 80F [27C].

Currently 70.8F [21.6C] with a relative humidity of 87%

71 @ 430 pm overcast & very windy

We had some extremely bad weather this morning, thunderstorm, flash flooding, tornado watch.

I don't like to drive in that kind of weather so I walked about 20 minutes to the bus stop & rode the bus to work
