76°at 8:52 a.m. East Texas. Should be around 95° for the high today. Hubby thinks I spoil the chickens because I gave them a fan...just don't want them cooked yet

We're having weird weather like that too. We'd be slightly less than you normally, but normally this time of year we're near mutiny if the swamp cooler isn't on. And for some reason its staying around 70, when we should be about 90.

Be grateful you're having 70 instead of 90.

Our temps are supposed to spike but, I'm hoping they don't. Even with a/c cranked up the upstairs bedrooms can be 84F to 87F. That's why we also have ceiling fans as a last resort.

I'm grateful it's "only" in the 90s. Still feels pretty mild for a summer here. Not too many years ago we had like 36 days straight of triple digits. I was convinced I died and went to hell!

I miss the pretty green of East Texas, but I sure don't miss that heat! Lol

It is pretty, and pretty brutal! Where did you excape to? We have been looking at land in Arkansas. Would love to move to the mountains

Where I am in Maine, it is 95 degrees out as opposed to like upper 60's a week ago. The saying is true, if you don't like Maine weather, just wait 5 minutes.

I moved from Jacksonville Texas to Olathe Colorado. (Mountains ) The heat here isn't the same, and in this part of the state we don't get tornadoes
