Do any parts of Texas have cooler - lush areas?? The closest I've been to Texas was two of my dogs finished their championships on the Texas circuit. But they were with boyfriend/handler and I was at home caring for his kennel dogs and mine.

East Texas is green and lush and beautiful ... but it's not really much cooler.
