What's the temperature where you are???

That’s the fun thing about Virginia. Our winters can get down to zero ( though not often) but our summers can get in the upper 90s with 80 to 90+ percent humidity and heat index over 100
I have a dear cousin in Fredericksburg, VA and dear friend in Clifton Forge, VA. Their climates are dreamy, IMO. -excellent growing seasons!! Yes, the winter can have really cold snaps with snow, and the summer can have some pretty hot and humid days, but a lot of Texas is guaranteed 95-105 real temps every day for 3 1/2 to 4 months. Oh do I dread it......

Not to brag, 🤣 (I mean, what's to brag about?) but our summers last from early May until mid October and stay upper 80s to low 100s with very high humidity pretty much every day. And of course, there are the droughts. I think my ancestors must have settled hear during the winter.🤣 otherwise they would have kept migrating. I'm thinking that I should be jealous of your climate. I love the mountains ...snow or no snow.

Virginia is kind of a crazy place. Where you live in the state climate can seem very variable. In Virginia you get beaches and mountains. Lived in Virginia all my life but just recently moved out to the foothills of the mountains. I got my last frost middle of May this year and got my first freeze in September. So the growing season is a lot different than I’m used to. Actually feels kind of short compared to where I lived in va before but I do a lot of starting of garden inside
I guess I feel like those dreadful days of summer are hot and beyond so. But I’m sure my view would change a little different if I lived somewhere different. I do really terrible and cold weather. But excessive heat ain’t no joke or any easier either

And I feel like this year everybody climate and weather no matter where they were seem to be really wacky. Within a year we’ve gotten -2° to 105° Oh those extremes!
