I have a dear cousin in Fredericksburg, VA and dear friend in Clifton Forge, VA. Their climates are dreamy, IMO. -excellent growing seasons!! Yes, the winter can have really cold snaps with snow, and the summer can have some pretty hot and humid days, but a lot of Texas is guaranteed 95-105 real temps every day for 3 1/2 to 4 months. Oh do I dread it......That’s the fun thing about Virginia. Our winters can get down to zero ( though not often) but our summers can get in the upper 90s with 80 to 90+ percent humidity and heat index over 100
