What's the temperature where you are???

No rain at home but it is dark to the south and weather alert on cell said lightning has been detected in the vicinity

98. Dew point 78. Reel feel 116. I have a gal that thought being broody in this was a good idea. Just got a handful of ice cubes to sit on.
115 real feel here.
I have 4 brooding right now. They are on outdoor(in the run) nests. Two have about a week to go. I'm going to buy pullets for the other two.
If I'd known it was going to be so hot, I would have tried breaking them.

We nearly moved to Colorado Springs, CO but I'm so glad I didn't. TN was mild compared to CO Springs where our son lived an our FL blood couldn't handle it there even. I can close the doors and pull the shades and take enough fabric off to stay cool in the summer but never put enough on to take the cold at a high elevation winter.
It takes a while, I'll admit, but you do get acclimated to the cold temps. Then you'll be like me, complaining that 80 is way too hot and 50 is comfy. :D
