I can't even imagine a temp in the 60s during the summer. I'll have to wait until almost November for that......

It's been cooler around here for at least the last five years.
Unless the overnight temperature is 60° or above, you cannot leave the basil out overnight, and that's how long it's been.
Important to remember is that @Hucklekree and I endure about nine months of rain and overcast for this three month payoff!

Being out in the heat working doesn't really bother me. Have gotten used to the heat being a welder, but I do like to be cool when sleeping. That'd be miserable
