What's the temperature where you are???

Thanks for sharing, it’s always interesting to see News from the other side of the planet. Sure is a lot of flooding, hope people and livestock are ok 😟
Thank you. I'm also loving seeing the daily weather happenings from your side of the world. Real weather from people who live with serious seasonal changes with snow and ice etc is fascinating to me!

14:10hrs, Central Ontario, Canada.

The mild weather continues, it’s +3C (37F) and glorious sunshine. Crazy weather for her a m February, we should be suffering through snow squalls and a meter of snow, or more, -20C or colder!

I am not whining but it sure seems like a tease and I fear we will pay for it next month. But for now it’s am enjoying this glorious weather!
We had a few days of 30c + where it actually felt like summer here; the past 4 summers have been nothing but rain and cold. Today I have the trusty flannel shirt back on .. even the dogs are curled up! Reading 17c inside. There is no chance I could manage 3c lol

Sydney's Warragamba Dam edges closer to capacity as ex-Tropical Cyclone Kirrily brings heaviest rain in decades

in other parts of the country ...

Preparations are underway across Perth for trains to slow down, tradies to down tools and school students to eat lunch indoors as the city prepares for its second heatwave in two weeks.

Temperatures are forecast to reach 39 degrees Celsius on Thursday, peaking at 41C on Friday and Saturday, and remaining in the high 30s into next week.

In any other situation, floodwaters spanning 6 kilometres would be a cause for alarm, but in the Channel Country, it is a welcome sight.

In the wake of ex-tropical cyclone Kirrily dumping upwards of half a metre in some places in north-west Queensland, floodwaters in western Queensland are making their way downstream.

But for those who call these isolated and often drought-affected properties home, the flood is much needed.

It's a sign of new life and replenishment for those who rely on the floods across the 200,000 square metres of winding channels.
