Those are relatively pleasant months, here. I guess that’s our trade off - mild winters with sweltering summers.i would rather like to hibernate from jan 2 to mar 3 every year. i hate frozen stuff
Except that our sweltering summers seem to grow longer every year. Those are relatively pleasant months, here. I guess that’s our trade off - mild winters with sweltering summers.

Yesterday we got our first delivery package of the year ruined by the heat.
We never know when something we ordered online is going to sit in a vehicle or storage unit without A/C for hours or days.
That's not a problem when temperatures are normal. However, when it's hot, temps inside vehicles and storage units reach 150F and higher, cooking everything inside.
Food, vitamins, supplements, toiletries, and electronics can be ruined. We have to suspend online orders of many kinds of items for about half the year.
Even stuff we buy in the stores can have been ruined by the heat during transport or storage. We have to be super careful.
Life in the desert.
