What's the temperature where you are???

Friday: 5:00pm, 99°F officially but my weather station is reading 100°F, my station is 51 miles from the San Antonio airports weather station. Feels like 110°F, humidity 51%, wind SE @ 13mph, cloudy, hazy from smoke from Mexico due to agricultural burning.

The airport here is about 7 miles away and is reporting 87° but my station is 88°. Close enough. Over 80° it's all hot when the humidity is over 50%.

And me. Amazing. Not since the bushfires of 2019 have I experienced such low humidity. Blackened gum leaves were falling from the sky. I have one in a frame.

Still better than being cold

I can remember opening the door to go to work while living in south central FL and getting knocked back inside by the heat and humidity June - September. It's hot up here but better winters than TN and better summers than FL. I don't know why my ancestors moved south from here unless it was the lure of cheaper land after the civil war.
