Used air conditioning in the car today and if we go out tonight, we'll have the heater running.

Anything over 80 and I start to droop. At 85F I'm useless. I'd use A/C in the car when it's over 80F outside... if the A/C in our car worked.

During the Hell Months I put a moratorium on going outside the house between 8AM and 8PM (it's past 80F by 5:30AM). Obviously that makes it difficult to run errands or attend to the coop, so I have to violate that sometimes but I try to stick to it as much as possible.

The coop is near the kitchen door so I gather up the ice blocks and treats and ice cubes, put on my old lady sunglasses and a big hat, dash outside to refill everything and check that everyone is okay, then run back inside. If I'm good I can get it all done in under 3 minutes.

It's so fast I'm not even sure the chickens know I've been there. They must think some miraculous ice fairy comes and refills everything and leaves them cold treats.
