How cold does it get in your snowy mountains? And does it last for the whole winter. I knew you got snow there but curious to see how long and how cold it goes.

It will be -6C on the 19th top of 2C. A record low was set in June 2022 at
−12.2 (10.0) Figs to that!

I went to a jubilee in either Daphne or fairhope Alabama about 35+ years ago and it was around midnight or wee hours in the morning

I used to go floundering and / or swimming at night quite often in the Gulf of Mexico back in the ‘70’s & ‘80’s

And only once did I see

Phosphorus (I’m not sure if this is correct name )

If you grabbed some of the sand in the gulf and threw it into the gulf every single grain glowed

It was beautiful

And once when I was at the end of the gulf state park pier back when I was a teenager and at night

A lot of the glow sea creatures were surfacing and they were beautiful

I don’t remember what that phenomenon was called
