What's the temperature where you are???

I have not rode the bus since June 20 (I’m thankful I am retired)
It has been just too hot
There is no shade on the 20 minute walk to the bus stop at this time of year
And the walk home sometimes it takes longer to walk
I no longer walk fast
I have already fell this year trying to catch a bus
And the hotter it is the slower I walk
I have to go outside 2 times a day for my dog and i sit on the patio
It’s a chore to take the trash out and check the mail box and do the laundry and the laundry room is next to the mailboxes

How do y’all take care of chickens and animals in this heat

Summer time is generally something we weather (pun intended) here. We've had a good two months of better than usual temperatures this summer. Its starting to heat up now so my chicken fans will be running for 20 to 23 hours a day.
Be careful. A fall can be devastating as we get older. Its better to miss the bus than to take the ambulance.
