Woke up and it was 49 F in north central FL. We had a breeze all day so even though it got to 71F this afternoon it still felt chili. Though after this past 30 days and two hurricane’s I will take the cold front if it helps break up any storms from forming.
There's a lot of blowing dust today. Hard on the eyes and lungs.
I got up early and cleaned, filled, and put fresh labels on all the gamma lid bins for the coop. I also cleaned and organized the coop supplies. I found a half dozen black widow egg sacks - all empty, whew.
Then I started picking up trash in the yard. There's a lot of trash from the storms and tornado and wind. Some of it is junk that has blown into our yard from the street, some is from passers by who dump trash like cans, bottles, cigarette butts, fast food wrappers and used needles (ack) over our fence (yes I use gloves and one of those grabber thingies). There's also a lot of stuff that are items of ours that were destroyed during the storms.
I had to come back inside once the wind really began blowing. It has kicked up a lot of crap and gave me an asthma attack.
