As far as I'm aware, there is no such thing as making up for lost school time during unavoidable weather / fire events here.

That's what I envy about public schools now. with homeschool I don't get snow days lol

We normally have a mild winter with some light freezes. Right now we have a snow blanket that is 4-7" deep and a low of 13° coming tonight. It's 23° now and not going to thaw out tomorrow.
