The first snow of the year has fallen at Thredbo in the NSW Snowy Mountains.
"We woke up to a fresh (small) dusting of snow across the mountain this morning a light blanket, but enough to get the stoke levels rising," the Thredbo resort company wrote on social media.
"Winter is warming up, and Thredbo is ready."
The Bureau of Meteorology said there is a slight chance of snow showers across the Snowy Mountains for the rest of today.
The BoM said there is a slim possibility of snow above 1400 metres, with the chance rising to 20 per cent above 1800 metres.
The small snowy spell will be short-lived, with sunny conditions expected for the rest of the week.
Another cold front will cross the state next week.
Oh joy! hahahaha
We are close in temps right now, with our real feel of 10C hahaha (I'm not really laughing), it's not very nice... it's the constant drizzle - ugh. Now that the snow has hit here, here's hoping you get no more thereOk you keep your snow hahaha - I had enough this year!
