Yep, she's a pekin frizzle named Betty. She was looking her broody best in that pic hahaha. Iactually had to buy 6 eggs yesterday because Betty and her two daughters haven't given me a single egg in some months now.

That explain why Betty is so fluffy up. Her head looks like Pekin, the frizzle feather, but why she is so round? Broody! She is very cute.
I love Pekin chickens, they are so quite and they do talk in a soft quiet sound, so cute. I have 2.Love to watch them leap and jump,they are so funny to watch.

You might like to have a chat with Betty and her daughters about ...their rent is due and in arrears

Coles and woolworth have eggs, but they are not as much as they used to be.

My local shop give me their unsold green,they were in in shock when I told them I have 13 chickens, but only 2 eggs a day.There is 1 day a week I only get 1 egg.

Aussie chooks are on strike it seems lol. You are lucky to get the unsold greens! When I was about 11yrs old, it was a common thing to get all the discarded outer leaves from various greens given to us by the box full at the grocers each week. Our bunnies and guinea pigs were always very happy.
