Whoaa!! Now THAT is some serious stuff! Be safe!!
Thank you!

I can see the wind has shifted direction here, once it gets oriented NW and sits that way for hours, it will drag cold Arctic air over the huge lakes which are warmer than the air, picking up all that moisture and then when the air hits the cold land (and sees the big red ❌ on my barn which says drop snow here…), then snow squalls will set up and drop half of the Great Lakes on my place!

Have I mentioned I truly hate winter???

Severe storms lash Sydney after scorching heat

Severe thunderstorms have lashed Sydney and surrounding regions including Wollongong, the Central Coast, Blue Mountains and Illawarra, bringing large hail, heavy rain and damaging winds after scorching mid-30 degree temperatures. The wild weather has caused widespread power outages affecting over 57,000 customers, brought down trees on cars and homes, and created transport delays across train and light rail networks. Catastrophic fire danger warnings remain in place for the Central West Plains with extreme fire ratings for Greater Sydney.
