What's the weirdest mix you've had?

I got this one last year. Mother is either partridge Brahma mix or Faverolles mix. Father was a mix and was grey of color with red hackles, Partridge Brahma mother and White Leghorn mix father.

So the white in her must have been a recessive gene from her grandpa. What's more, she was dark grey as a chick.

She is gorgeous!!!! I love Brahma mixes (or really anything with feathered feet!)

I have 12 mix breed eggs under a broody hen right now that I got from a friend. Her two roosters are a Speckled Sussex and a Buckeye/Speckled Sussex. Their hens are Langshan, Egyptian Fayoumi, Welsummer, Buckeye, Jersey Giant, Gold Sex Link, and Barred Rock. They should hatch Monday.

Five of mine have hatched out of 11. There were issues with my broody mentioned in my previous post so they’re in an incubator. Three more have pips and should hatch today. The ones that are out and in the brooder are the one Fayoumi, two Welsummers, a Langshan, and a Barred Rock mixes. The roosters are either a Speckled Sussex or a Speckled Sussex/Buckeye mix.
