What's up with Purina???

I also noticed the color change about two weeks ago. I feed over 100lb a week of Start N Grow and haven't had any problems with the babies. I haven't seen any blue plastic in it though.

What is the medicated chick starter suppose to look like? The one I got was all tan colored tiny crumbles...is this right?

It's always been yellow in the past.

both sets I have received (non purina) were brown crumbles - not yellow. I can see some yellow corn ground up, but mostly brown.

Sounds like grain substitution due to high prices to me. (Just a guess) I wonder if they are using distillers grain? It may be darker than regular corn.

It could be genetically modified corn, too.

Well, Purina did recall horse feed in May. I'm wondering if the issues are related?
