Are you sure she's a sebright? She doesn't have proper patterning or the right comb
My concern is her comb. She and her sister were sold to me as bantam sebrights. Whatever she is I am worried about her comb, not whether I am correct in her breed, but thanks for the info. Are you sure she's a sebright? She doesn't have proper patterning or the right comb
Oh no. Oh no. Thank you. You're seeing the death of her comb due to serious frostbite. The white part will soon blister, turning into oozing yellow blisters. It will eventually dry out and turn crispy black. Then the black part will fall off.
It's an extremely painful process, taking four to sex weeks, maybe longer for complete healing.
Not much you can do for it. Touching it will make it worse and also hurt worse. She can have two 81 grain chewable (baby) aspirin per day for the pain.
