What's wrong with my eggs......

My advice would be to leave the eggs alone and not fiddle with them too much. Don't worry about the air cells at this point since you cannot do anything for them.

They need to stay in the incubator for the humidity--some say the humidity helps soften the shell so you want to keep it up and not open too much during lockdown. Opening some is ok though

I agree, but the size of the air cell does come into account when deciding on a safety hole or not. Larger air cells don't bother me to wait it out, but small ones cause me some concern.

I wait for a hole until the very last. The lack of oxygen is one of the triggers that makes them externally pip and zip.

I am a bit less hands on these days though

The bruise can be caused by a couple different things. It could be malpo, it could have nicked a vein with its toenail hard saying not knowing

Some people are very hands on and some leave everything up to nature
For me it depends on the value of the eggs I hope that it pokes out soon

Thanks @DwayneNLiz, I candled it earlier today when I posted but there didn't look like there was anymore movement so I'm not holding out for this little chap, I don't think it made it....

It's now 7:14am and still nothing. I have made a tiny safety hole. Can hear 2 of them cheeping. This little one is laying on his back it looks like. Should I be concerned?

13:26pm and still nothing from the egg I made a tiny hole in nor the 2nd egg which I have left alone, it's now just over 25hrs since that 2nd one pipped internally. Still wait it out??
