Make the appointment - take her in for an office exam and go from there with choosing treatment course that will fit within your budget. They "won't help" without the appointment because they can't help until/unless they are able to examine your bird and diagnose the problem.

So glad you are taking her to the vet. She's worth it and it will calm you all down to get help. I'm going through some issues with my bird, Araucana, named Airabelle. Long story short, she's still ill, but I'm seeing a vet and that really helps.

When my sick Arabelle looks up at me with those eyes saying thank you for my water and my pets, my heart sings a song saying, "She's worth it". I know you feel the same, we have to keep trying to save our birds. They are loved just as much as a dog, cat or other animal. My thoughts are with you.

So I just got back from vet. He says either she has eaten a bad bug or a stomach infection. He also says she is far gone to fix it but we can try.

At least you now know what is wrong with her. What did the vet say to do for her? Would antibiotics help?

He said if she makes it through the night, to give her antibiotics and tube feed. she is very malnourished. I told what ive been feeding her and he says she might not have been eating at all...

The vet didn't give you anything for her or do any sort of diagnostics?
