What's wrong with their feathers?

Eprinex requires more for effectiveness, but you don't have to withdraw eggs for 3 weeks with it like you do the normal Ivermectin. Iver-On and Ivomec are some brand names of Ivermectin.

I wouldn't use 10 drops of the normal stuff. I get mine at the feed store.

So if I purchase the Eprinex from the website how much should I use for bantam chickens?

kristen

Eprinex- 6 drops for an adult bantam, 10 for an adult large fowl...vary for larger or smaller within that diverse range.

Ivermectin- 3 drops for an adult bantam, 5 for an adult large fowl...again, vary for size differences.

It's not approved for use in poultry, and Eprinex says no withdrawal time necessary for feed animals in those for whom it is approved. Most folks use a 3 week withdrawal for the regular Ivermectin.

Some mites and lice are less responsive to it, and I'll use Sevin dust on the birds who need more help.

wow...just...wow....

those are some of the MOST gorgeous chicks and grown birds I have ever seen!!! I made myself read thru this entire thread cos I could not stop lol I wish you all the best of luck, and if I could help I would

I will cross all that I can, light candles, say prayers...whatever works to get these little guys established.

I have no incubator and my husband would freak if I got a cockerel hatched

Tho, I have been pushing hard for an incubator and he is thinking about it, but then the whole "what if we get boys" things crops up and...well no incubator atm. Yet.

So I will live vicariously thru you all and keep fingers crossed for these lovely little mixup birds to breed true and be healthy !! Cos when they are, and when I have the space AND the incubator etc etc etc...I am gonna get me some of these beautiful birds!

I'm so sorry. That's really too bad. I've got more eggs cooking. I hope to hatch more with the new genes, and I'm adding a different line of genes this week by putting two of my redbreast pullets.

Hope everyone else is hanging in there.
