What's wrong with their feathers?

I *think* there are 18 chicks in there, they keep moving and it's hard to count!

I also, JUST saw chick #10 flop out of the shell, so that is fantastic. No idea where egg #9 is, it's pure chaos in there.

I'm not particularly worried about the humidity, it appears to be fluctuating back down to the 70's, then another one hatches and it goes back up. If the consensus says 'Hey You, what are you crazy?? Open those vents!!' then I'll do it.

How exciting!

Not that your other ones that have hatched aren't special.

. I don't know a thing about incubating except what you and others have written . I do know I will never put an incubator in the closet , don't want to become a closet hatchaholic .

21 total hatched (of the 33 set at lockdown), waiting for the last one to dry off and then it's brooder time. Going to get a spray bottle ready and leave the slacker eggs in the 'bator until they go bad or hatch. Most likely duds (most of the strange feather birds and a two or three of the OnTheSpot eggs.

So, that plan is on hold, another egg pipped so we are waiting before opening the bator. Should be 22 birds from 33 set eggs, final count in the morning.

Still can't see where egg #9 went - but we only see one (#10) of the strange feathers. If #9 did pip (and that was never a certainty) I'm not sure it made it. All the Julie eggs we can see look solid.
